Hats off to Bob who took time out of his weekend to get a reply back to me. Unfortunately I can't open the attachment so once I have a working copy I can then reformat it into UBB type layout.
It shouldn't be more than a day or two at the most.

I have the raw text back from Bob Stuart; I need to mark it up into UBB format. Expect it in the next day or so.

Hi John
Thanks very much for your work on this one...it's much appreciated.
Since everyone will be reading this thread with interest, and several of us will be attending on the 10th, can I put out a heartfelt plea?
PLEASE...no more questions about new products, upgrades or strategic intentions which may or may not be in the pipeline. It is completely unrealistic to expect any commercial organisation with an ounce of common sense to divulge this information. It's commercial suicide. It's a bit embarassing to put Meridian in the position of having to issue so many "no comment" replies EVERY time John has a Q&A session. Please let's not go down the same route on the 10th...
Phew. Thanks. Time for my medication.
George

Perhaps if Meridian ask us (for marketing purposes) "Which features would you like to see in future equipment?" we should refuse to answer on the grounds that it would give away our future purchasing intentions.
