Yes, there is edge enhancement in nearly every scene of the film - some of it may be digital compositing halos where the actors are in front of CGI backgrounds but there were plenty of "normal" scenes which exhibit it also. One of the curses of having a large screen is that these issues become very clear. Thankfully, due to the higher resolution of HD, it's never as painful as we used to see on DVD but it definitely still has a negative impact on image quality.
