Well, here I go again, but Kubrick's Lolita was rubbish, and particularly Peter Sellers was very annoying in this film. Perhaps it was controversial and interesting at it's release, but now it looks pap. Adrian Lynne's 1997 version was much more satisfying. I also think that 2001 is, after the incredible opening sequence - apes to the obelisk - interminably dull. I *will* watch it again on HD, but that will probably be the last time ever.
