IIRC, there are minor firmware revisions available online, but given the option I would take a MD5 verified, burned and burn verified CD image every time. It's all happening at the moment; I've "installed" an ND2 filter on my PJ with good results; My copy of HD DVE is in the post; I've just ordered a colorimeter so I can measure and play around with grayscale; And the bug-fix firmware for my JVC HD1 is "imminent". Roon Developer and ex-moderator of this Forum I am #25 in the HH1 photo of fame.
