For those using a Lumagen scaler with 1080p displays please check this thread:

It seems that the Lumagen may, by default, damage the horizontal resolution of the source by adding 1.5% overscan to the scaling. I have been working my way through this and found that I have been watching this way for the past 6 months :| And now that I have fixed it, using HD DVE to verify, the difference is very obvious. Worthwhile checking your setups...
