Mark, Congratulations! my one bit of parental advice: stock up on supplies. Being shorthanded at 2AM is not good. All, Watched part of the Happy Feet HD DVD and it is all that it is cracked up to be. WOW- it may not give you a sense of natural skin tones, but as demo material - WOWOWOWOW http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/happyfeet.html best regards, Jerry

That looked very good too.

Jerry, I have Happy Feet on order - it's not a film I'd choose to watch but I'm thinking ahead and starting to build up the "family friendly" collection of movies Mark

Hmmm, Postman Pat's Black and White cat would pose a true Ansi Contrast torture test for any projector. I'd like to see that as a test pattern on HD DVE and HD Avia Mark

I had been stocking up on classic Disney films a long time before my 3 year old was even thought about.
Is it true that Disney circulate their releases on a 7 year cycle? Certainly seems to be.

Mark, What will happen is youll put on Happy Feet just to see what the hype is about- then an hour will have passed as you are left in awe at the image quality. Granted its all CGI- but, dare I say it- its the best CGI Ive ever seen. Another reason for getting this is to send a message that HD DVDs are being purchased as opposed to BRDs. VK- oh no- whats that- admitting SD DVD can look good?! Never! best regards, Jerry
