I think you should get a BR player, PS3 or otherwise and get a few movies: The Prestige because its a great movie with really great video (though it has a few soft moments) and the new Bond- Casino Royale because its also a great movie and the transfer is a solid 8-9/10. It should be a tiny bit better but alas, what can you do. And Kingdom of Heaven, the directors cut really helps the movie and the transfer is terrific. I think you would like it. The PS3 might be the easiest thing to get. If you like games you can play it and if you dont and a universal comes out in the future, you can sell/ give it to someone who wants a PS3- perhaps a family member who needs corrupting... wink

If anyone here can make a test disc on either format, the tests could be fairly basic, I think it would sell. You wouldnt have to compete with the production values of DVE or AVIA, etc. Just get the test material out there. This is near criminal in my book!
