You mean Planet Earth, don't you? The US release from Warner/BBC is coming first. The UK version is coming at the end of the summer. The series was post produced in 25p to the best of my knowledge, so presumably there will be some framerate conversion for the US release. It was a mix of HD and 35mm, so they may just drop single frames if they want to makee it a 24p encode in the US. If they wanted to make it a 30p encode then more tinkering would be required.

The UK version will be out by the time the E1/XE1 (A2/XA2) get the 25p firmware update (due in the spring I think), but whether the A1 and XA1 can ever get a similar update Toshiba have never said.
