The cheapest solution is a optical/coax converter. The Optical/Coax conversion shouldn't degrade the signal.

Another solution is the Octava HDMI switch
which includes 4x1 Toslink optical audio routing.

I went with the expensive Meridian solution and got the ID25 Optical Digital input card here .
