I'm sure you could connect your iPod with the right cable. I have an 40gb iRiver connected to my 561/861 any time I like. Dts and Dolby's formats are attainable with an IA40/45 card. Is there a 7.1 format available that I haven't heard of ?? If Trifield doesn't rock your boat there are plenty of other presets to choose from.
