Call me mad ....

.... but I have both a Toshiba HDDVD and a Sony Bluray machine in my system and would make the following observations:

1. I see no consistent superiority (either picture or sound) for either format over the other - they both look superb.
2. Both formats are clearly superior to DVD (even upscaled DVD), and I am at a loss to explain why some people fail to see a substantial improvement - even on my 32" 768 libe LCD, there is an appreciable difference.
3. Even though Bluray is more expensive than HDDVD, it is still cheap compared to M gear.
