Fixes optical input problem. The main bonus is new v1.35 firmware with new features and bugfixes.

Aaarghhh. Still no separate cross over for different channels on the G68, though.
That latency correction looks interesting. I'm full analogue at the moment, but those of you with mixed systems, or multiple DSPs will probably want to update them all. Looks like they've fixed the latency at 7.5ms for everything, I didn't know that different DSPs had different latencies, or that it wasn't already corrected. Should provide better imaging?
BTW - Latency will be the delay from a sample arriving at SPDIF, probably to the point just after the DAC (or the speaker cone).

Eerie silence wrt 861 though , isnt there ? Although Dolby TrueHD is mentioned elsewhere in BS's interview on this site ,no sign of any 861 developments ?? Or maybe he's just trying to lull us into a false sense of insecurity before Christmas ? Should I still get a Toshiba player or not ???? ~M~

Get the Tosh. If the 861 gets HD-DVD or BD before next Christmas, I'll be rather surprised...

Me too! Glad I downloaded last night. I wonder if all web browsers are affected?
