What is the possibility of enabling 480i output on the HDMI equipped DVD players (G9x and 800)?

This would allow those with external scalers to work with the native DVD content to scale as needed if they so desire and compare Meridian's deinterlacing / scaling versus their deinterlacing scaling for best results in their environment.
