That's a crucial point, because the Linn front end driving the speakers at the dealer dem will sound quite different to the Meridian kit you are using. Your own cables are presumably different, and so too are the acoustics of your own listening room. Importantly, it's now your 555 amp which has to drive both models, and consequently they may (or may not!) yield a different result in situ. Please do keep us posted!
