Re: sending to the UK. I would suggest you call them first and discuss. They will certainly be in touch with Atlanta to know what they are doing. Ask for Dave, Edd or Des. These are the guys that are most well known to many of us here and always produce the support that you need.
They may well defer to Atlanta for the time being, but, you will hopefully get some reassurance that something is being done.
