Meridian Unplugged - Powered by MrTechGuy.co.uk Forums Discussion Meridian - Systems Has there been any word ??????

Hello All,
Awhile back a reader and poster to this fine site (PWM) made a statement that on 04-18-2001 2:34 P.M. "That Mr.Stuart gave the go-ahead for the DVD-A upgrade launch. This official announcement was to be in May????.This was to be for the older 800/861's upgrades". Here it is now near the end of July and nowhere have I seen any movement on this upgrade either here or on Meridians web site. Can anyone give any details or input on when we might see this happen?
Still waiting,
Greg

Last I heard, Meridian had said some news on the upcoming 861 upgrades might be available in September.

Since the CEDIA Home Theater show is in September, I assume this is when we will hear more.

That, is, indeed, what I've heard as well. They're a little late, and hope to start scheduling in September.

Interesting. I thought we'd only get the announcement of what is planned in terms of the upgrade in September.
