I should have mentioned that prior to the 861 (2 tried), a 568 and a 568.2MM were used succesfully with *no* other changes - pull 568.2MM out of system , place 861 into system, connect (the still warm) cables, hisssss. The sound is good but I can hear the hiss under the music which means it should sound much better.
