So, we should keep our eyes open for possible purchasing opportunities (or some Web merchant with stock suffcient enough to support a group purchase) on the DVS DSL-720A. The eBay seller offering the 710 in large quantities has already told me they can not obtain the 720, and DVS, both in their US office and in communication directly with the factory in Korea have told me they can not supply either the 720 or 820 any more.

The next best thing would be any knowledge of another manufacturer's drive as a plug-and-play replacement.
