The point (I think) is this...

Until the format war settles out, I don't think any of the smaller higher end companies are going to test the waters.

I also don't doubt for a minute that M is working on an HDMI audio solution and HDMI v1.3 is almost certainly working towards. Before any of you reads something into that... No inside scoop, but M has more than a few really smart people working there laugh
