Now thinking about getting some Meridian 500 series units (565 for Trified) to matrix between the sides and fronts of a 7.1 system. Any thoughts John Kotches ??Thanks

Hi John, got your AVS post, just trying to see if the TH Labs 10.2 concept might be created by using Trifield Matrix between the 568 outputs of fronts and sides.

Where are you going to put the speakers at? In a Holman 10.2 you have this for primary speakers... Height L Height R
Front L CenterL CC CenterR Front R

Side L Side R
Back CenterI don't see what you're going to derive this when there's nothing between the front and sides in Holmans 10.2 array. That's why I said it seems to me to be nothing more than a stab at "my theater has more speakers than your theater"... I'm not trying to be insulting, I just don't see what you're going to accomplish with this experiment. Regards,
