"Running on Empty" Anyone audition this yet? Just got it today after reading a review about it this past week. Man! What a great mix on DVD Audio!! The CD sounds like a 1977 recording and the DVD Audio sounds like I'm there in 1977 recording it. WOW! Reminds me of The Who "Tommy" DVD Audio mix. Just like being there.

I remember buying this in the late seventies after hearing it on Nicky Horne's Friday Rock Show and it is still one of my favorite albums. Other albums bought in the same week were Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" and the Sex Pistols "Never Mind the .....", all of which are every bit as good today.

Based upon your reviews I have just added the DVD Audio version of "Running On Empty" to my shopping list.

I got mine on Amazon. I had to type DVD-A or DVD Audio in the search to find it though. It wasn't in there DVD-A section. I think thats because it's a CD/DVD-A. Two disc set. Other vendors come up as well. Some cheaper than Amazon.

Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000803PKY/sr=8-1/qid=1144079687/ref=sr_1_1/103-8341779-2036635?%5Fencoding=UTF8

Outstanding, found through the suggested Amazon link - not very easy to find.

Thanks everyone for the reply.
