Just came back home.
This is how I've done it without a single problem:
-load new software on the machine and update from the web.
-load usd2serial into my laptop and recognise new port.
- get the software to verify the G series via the identity button.
-once this is done, load the mfp file into the app.
-press start, this time it will do both files at the same time before, you add to load each file manually to the player. now it is a 1 button action only.
-make sure that you do not have any screen saver running on the laptop because they might kick in before the software as loaded everything not a good idea.

I'm done and playing music will try DVD tonight, i can 1080p in the HDMI menu.
so far so good...
