Hello chaps,
I hate to say this but everything downloaded and then uploaded perfectly on my G91 now running version 2.11 from 1.73. In fact it's the first new release of any kind that I have been completely happy with from M and has caused me no headaches!!
It's also really nice to see the DSP3100's appear on the config program which I hope to purchase very soon following a very positive audition.
One thing I did notice was that the Flash upload program did not recognise my player as "a G91 DH as expected". It said it found a G90 connected but then proceeded to erase the current memory and perform a fresh upload anyways!
After appearing all very smug about the situation it must be noted that even though I have the extra functionality (mainly based on HDMI) I cannot use any of it as I don't have an HDMI screen - yet!!
Does anyone with a successful upload
know what the errors reported display means when using the OSD? I was playing my Faithless album and it counted an error in the first track but it didn't seem to affect the sound in any way - is this just the sign of a poorly recorded CD?
