Exactly.

Hardware upgradeablity is a selling point because it implies the ability to accomodate new (or at least next gen.) formats/connections as they arise. The coming hi-res formats fall under the umbrella of 'hardware upgradeable' to my mind. It was a factor in my buying decision. Might have tried to stretch for an 861 or gone another direction entirely if I knew the G68 to be a dead end.

We'll see. Sure wish Lex. sounded better for music! When they say upgradeable or upgrade program, they mean it.
