Like George, I too use Windoze XP. ('Home' version) on my 'HP' Laptop to run the Meridian set up programmes.
Over the past 18 months, that I have been using a serial-USB adapter, I've had little to zero problems running the M applications.

As it works OK this side of the pond I'm sure Bill G will have catered for you over there as well. wink
