I am considering a significant change to my system, but need a little guidance. As background, I do not have a Meridian dealer in my area, and the closest one around (about three hours away) has never responded to an email requesting Meridian support.
I currently have a music/home theater setup with DSP7200SE's for the left/right speakers.
I am likely to switch to analog left/right speakers, but my 861v8 does not have the optional OA08 analog output card.
My two questions are:
1. Is the OA08 still available for purchase, and if so, does anyone know what the approximate price is these days?
2. Could I take the L/R SpeakerLink output of the 861v8 into a 218 and then use the 218's analog RCA output to go to the analog amp?
