Hi, I got a 800v4 with a non working/answering DV20 card, have desoldered the AM29LV040 U200 flash and it’s only FF in it then reading out, so I need an EEPROM dump. Haven't found any then searching so hoping that somebody here has one

This is very interesting; I have an 800v4DAX where I am unable to establish contact with the DV20 board. I am therefore very keen to learn how to bring the DV20 board back to life. I’m wondering, though, if this affects all the boards or if only one of them has been "bricked." For reference, the boards in question are the DV02, DV12, and DV20.

It is very easy to brick a DV02 board!
There is no fail-safe firmware update, and if the update fails halfway through, the board is bricked.
It would be great if someone could design an adapter board for the 48-pin carrier board that Meridian uses to connect it to a standard EEPROM reader. If that were available, I'd happily pull my working board apart and download the image. I'm just not comfortable desoldering and resoldering the EEPROM from its carrier.
There are different versions of the DV02/DV12 board, so I don't know if there are different firmware revisions.
Drop me a PM if you want to discuss further.
Cheers,
Steve

Mine is working but it's problem with the sound and then connecting with putty to the RS232 port is say "Timeout waiting for DSP", so it's only the DV20 board that's is bricked as I see it.
