I was gifted Apple Music for 3 months. I already subscribe to Tidal.

My assessment, playing the same music on both platforms via headphones…

For me, Apple Music has less clarity, is veiled in graininess, and feels compressed.

By comparison, Tidal is clear, neutral, articulate, and has good extended bass.

I will not be using Apple Music beyond the 3 month trial.
