Can some friendly HH share the info, what thread does the bass body have that carries the spike for the head?

I want to move my 8k, and will mount the transport plate as described here, but I lost the screws.

What length are the screws and what size screw thread?

Metric screws go easy inside the screw holes with good feeling that these are the correct ones.
BUT, does Meridian use a metric thread for that?

M8 35mm. I use them in my custom crates which utilize a transport plate bolted to the top of the speaker.

Thanks Bruce, but on my (older?) 8000.2 metric M8 is to big.

The metric M6x50 fit with my thickness of the top/support plate and a larger/thicker washer below the screw head.

Check always the depth of the thread hole in the bass body.

Which 8k version do you have?
