US eBay listing for a DSP5200SEHC in black is not actually an SE, it just has an SE shipping box.
That said, the price is nearly three times what it is actually worth. Be careful out there my friends.

$3000.00 on Audiogon, $3650.00 on eBay. I asked him to include a picture of the back panel. After pointing out to him all the things that said it was not SE He relisted it and included a partial back panel picture that did not show the serial number but, it did show it was speakerlink. He omitted all the photos from the previous listing that showed it was not SE. I have dealt with him in the past but I am.not sure why he seems to be a little fishy now. Maybe this is why the Audiogon listing was showing no watchers.

Can't tell. The provided photos do not show the serial number on the back panel. The photo of the front show that it is clearly not a SE speaker.

Is it supposed to be marked "SE" or the appearance only?
If the latter, than an inexperienced buyer can easily miss it.
I just have the non SE.

The silkscreen on the factory SE display glass reads Special Edition. A upgraded version you can tell by the beriyllium tweeter. The dome is gray not black. Both versions the display will read DSP6
5200SE when powered on from the back panel switch. Not long ago I got a really super deal on on some 8000's that I noticed in the eBay photos that they had been upgraded by the SE tweeters. Seller had no idea.
