Hi All,
I desperately need to access the software configurable settings on my 818v3 and the version of msconfig that is available on Meridian's website no longer supports the 818v3.
Even the older versions of the mconfig program that I have on my computer insist on accessing Meridian's website to download the latest software version which is not compatible with the 818v3.
Would be grateful for a workaround or some help!

Thanks, but the newest mconfig build no longer supports 818v3. When I attempt to fetch or upload a new config to my 818v3, I receive a message saying the software no longer compatible my device.

What firmware are you running on your 818v3?
Both my 808v6 & 818v3's are running the newest (pretty sure) firmware v4.14: zero issues with mconfig.

In its usual effort to frustrate users, Windows 11 made it impossible to download the links on the Meridian page, as the file "isn't downloaded very often". There is a xxx.crdownload in the Downloads folder. You can then let Microsoft know that you trust the download, but that doesn't lead to an actual download of the executable. Has anyone managed to download either the installer or the direct link to MConfig?

I'm on Windows 11. I just clicked this link to the page (same as above) and then clicked on the common installer download link , and I was able to save the setup.exe no problem. Are these the steps you followed?

Hi Rolski,
Thanks; yes those were the steps I followed.
It took me while to figure it out. It was Defender Smartscreen that was stopping the downloads. Some persistent right clicking in the download manager of Edge and I was able to download the common installer and the configuration app. So far so good.
Does anyone know where the Meridian Sooloos Configuration app has gone? I'm thinking about adding an MD600, but need to select which of my drives will be the core.

Hi, I too was looking today at links provided before to upgrade my 818v3, currently at version 4.0.0. These links seem not to work anymore.
I hope I can get a copy of mconfig and firmware 4.14 from fellow hitchhikers. I guess Meridian will not help me if I contact their support.
Assuming that I would get those files, would I be running high risks if trying to update 818 from a more recent laptop with USB/serial adepter (with chipset FTDI) ?
