Took a chance buying a D1500 off Reverb. Arrives. Has power: green light on. I already have a working D1500 so I just set it up like my current one and moved the cables over. No sound.
Ideas? Things to try? (Other than sending it back).
Thanks!
Serial is 100035 in case anyone knows its history.
Update:
Both digital-audio and comms are passed through correctly. I wired up the new d1500 directly, and then chained my original one to its digital output and second comms port. The original works fine, volume changes, etc. But no sound from new one.
I do get a thump when I turn the power on, so speaker is connected to amp and power.

D subs can be finicky at times. I have found the best results with wiring up speaker connections one at a time power cycling with the remote after each subsequent connection. Have you tried going with your original configuration and daisy chaining from sub to sub with the reverb being last on the chain and power cycling? Currently running four d2500 and two D1500.

Thanks. I will try that. Do you know what the little red reset button does?

I’ve had a couple of D1500 s in the past and found at least one didn’t want to play when I first set it up so may be a feature of this model! I never found out what the reset button does (or indeed how it should be used, unit powered on or press whilst powering on? Press or press and hold? For how long? Tried everything I could think of and never seemed to do anything!)
I cannot be sure exactly what I did to get it working but one piece of advice at the time was to try running calibration, ie setting SPL and phase at each speaker individually, and I think this might have done the trick. Edited to add…. One further thought, it’s always worth pressing clear on the MSR to establish the controller hierarchy whenever you add to a system.
Hope you getting it working.
