Any information or news on the update of 210 to get lossless via Spotify?
In the Spotify setup for 210 I can only choose very high but not Lossless, but if I choose computer as the output device I can choose lossless.

Spotify lossless is not coming to the 210 according to the intel I have. It's already available on the Ellipse, but 210 is a different platform. Been told it will not support the lossless-update.

That was bad news, that was one of the reasons I bought the 210, that you could get lossless from it from Spotify. But then I have to continue with Tidal to get lossless streaming.

Other manufacturers experience the same problem with Spotify lossless.
While 'Spotify Connect' works as expected, Spotify requires manufacturers to develop/provide their own replacement firmware to facilitate Spotify Connect HD on their products - and we all know how responsive Meridian is to updating their products.
One manufacturer has announced plans to offer an external module that includes ‘Spotify Connect HD’ and ‘Tidal Connect’ to its existing customers.

Is a Cambridge MXN10 steamer a better bet than a 210 since it CAN do Spotify Connect lossless?

I found Spotify/Tidal Connect to be temperamental with firmware updates. some updates everything goes fine, others lots of disconnects.
Overall the Wimm Pro plus has been more stable throughout updates then the mxn10. The Last update made the mxn10 unhappy. for the most part I listen with Roon on the 218 and ID41.
