Breaking news for Farad 3 owners.

Yesterday I had my Farad 3 power supply modified by Mattijs from Farad.
The results are truly amazing.

The purple fuse of SR has been replaced by a TMCB module (without fuse)
When I started using it I immediately heard a big difference, much more depth, tighter bass and a cleaner high.

After about 2 hours of playing the module started to feel "at home".
The bass started to live even more and started to pop as Mattijs had already predicted.

In short, a very successful upgrade for a relatively low price.
Recommended for all Farad owners.

I play with a 218 modified by Mattijs

Now I need this upgrade. Are you still as enthousiastic after the honeymoon period?

Ok I did this upgrade too and I think it is indeed better. But I don't believe in fuse upgrades so it must be in my head!

You can always live dangerously with some copper rods or jumper wire.

@MVirgil That's a cheaper solution then a upgrade with a Quantum Science Audio Violet Fuse for 30 euro more then you will pay for a new Farad 3.
