There are several technical reasons why Tidal Atmos is not available through Roon, but I guess it all comes down to the fact that when the processor platform was designed nobody had considered Atmos from streaming. Tidal Atmos has been available for some time through Tidal connect, but we are not sure how many users actually use it; the support tickets on Tidal Atmos are extremely few.

If sufficient Roon users request it we will probably look into the task of implementing support for multichannel files through Roon. It would require a lot of work, and at the moment we have other important tasks with higher priority.
