I don't have my 568.1 any more. I've never had the problem you have and used my 568.1 single ended and ballanced for 4 years and no problems. I use all small analog and mono sub.

I had some popping the early days (first released 568) when the high speed option was enabled. There was a bug with upsampling. That was when Meridian jumped to fix a problem and would send a fix in a few days showing concern to get it fixed. This is why I complain now because they used to be so good with resolving a problem. Now they don't seem to care. Some bone heard changed the policy to not release quick fixes.
