Greetings,

I've not been active on here for several yers, but I've had a fair amount of experience with Meridian over the last couple decades.

I'm about to update a system for a client, and would like advice from the brain trust here.

Existing Equipment:
G61R
HD621
DSP5200 x4 (coaxial connections), DSP5200HC

I am upgrading to a 4k projector and the only sources will be a 4k AppleTV and a gaming console.

In 2024, what is the most reliable way to add a 4k HDMI switcher to this system?

One more consideration- Lumagen video processor, you can still use the existing HD621 to handle audio. I use these in my systems.

Since you only have two devices to contend with I would get a HDMI splitter for each device. Send unaltered video to the projector and send the audio to your HD621. I have used a similar product to this :

HDMI Splitter

558.2 amp, Meridian A500 speakers, M2500 sub, Director & Explorer DACs
