That, in itself, would be a red-line to me, especially considering you paid a premium price - are you going to be happy knowing the caps aren’t decent?

They claim to be an authorized repair center, but only The Repair Shop is listed on Meridian's site. I did reach out to Meridian but haven't heard back.

Certainly not happy about the caps, it seems obvious that it's the cause of the noise floor issue. I also can't find much info on their quality other than a few anecdotal forum posts, so I don't have much to argue with them on that front.

I did reach out to Meridian earlier in the week to confirm whether or not they are an authorized Meridian repair center as they claim. I used the contact form on their website, but haven't heard back. Are you aware of a separate contact a US based division?

I believe Ryan would be the best place to start look him up on LinkedIn.
However I have only worked with Marc Koval for > 15 years.

I hope you are doing the communication by email, so you have written proof of the whole shazam...

As for mailing with Meridian.... tried it a few times but its seams that the cant find the reply button after the latest outlook update.

Sadly they're as bad as Meridian when it comes to emails. I am taking notes on all the calls though with dates and time stamps.

Maybe give them one more opportunity to fix, and possibly ask them to change caps to ones more in line with the premium ones Meridian fits (depending on how important that is to you), but after that if it’s still not fixed say you’ll be expecting a refund so you can go elsewhere?
