I agree with others, this seems reasonable considering the amount of labor required.
They should sound great once fully recapped.

+1 on recapping older DSPs, major improvements and peace of mind.
Did legacy 8000s have the load resistor issue, as 5000s did? If so, might be worth proactively replacing those also.
