My 2 x 857 and 818.3 sit on 20mm acrylic shelves.

The rack is solid as a rock.

Should I be thinking about resonance isolation feet or are Meridian's OEM feet as good as anything else?

There are many products out there designed specifically for this purpose, Iso Acoustics, Harmonic Resolution Systems, Stillpoints are some that come to mind.
Meridian's feet are ok but a plastic cone with a little rubber bumpon are not very sophisticated.

I made something like this for decoupling the DP7200. Works like a charm for a few €

I have had good results using isoacoustics orea feet beneath my amp, better separation and soundstaging although my stand was not an audiophile one so there were improvements to be made. Stack audio products are getting plenty of positive reviews at the moment and as mentioned there are lots of alternatives. As ever, trying different solutions in your system will ultimately yield the best results difficult though that may be.

At about $50 each, the Stack Audio AUVA SQ isolators are a very effective bargain. I use them under both streamer and switch.

Before going wild on ‘audiophile’ isolation solutions, why not try the synthetic rubber vibration isolators used for Aircon equipment and washing machines? They are black and discreet I bought a few for a few pounds a while back and they do as good a job as the dedicated sorbathane pieces I also had.

The other solution, especially for our North American and Scandinavian colleagues, is ice hockey pucks.

What are you trying to achieve, coupling or decoupling?

Selling an 818.3 seems to be the issue!
