Looks like an M80 rolled onto its back ...just lacking a few inputs.

Somewhat ambiguous on first read. It has wifi and wired network connection but only for control ? Not any form of local network streaming?
No mention of UPNP or Roon so another streaming device is needed for local network source materials via TOSLINK, dual purpose mini-jack and USB-C?
"Internal streaming source"...what is this ? Assume this is code for BlueTooth? So the streaming is limited to pairing with a Bluetooth device?
Assume that SQ will be very good like F/M80.

Marketers got a hold of this one. No manuals available (not even a brochure) at launch?
No mention of Roon or any other --- anything!
I'm not opposed to it - in fact I'm partially in the market for such a product but I've made my own out of a 33 and a 562 that *is* a Roon endpoint (old laptop).

Ellipse offers superb flexibility with Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi streaming, while an Ethernet socket provides the option of a wired network connection.
Supports AirPlay and Chromecast built-in, as well as native streaming from Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. It is a Roon Ready device and can be used as a UPnP renderer. Looks like HQ Marketing are catching up

I wasn't too far away with my guesses! £1,900? That's quite pricey but I suppose that's to be expected. Would I buy one? In principle I might but I don't currently have any need for one but I hope it's a success for Meridian & for our PPs.
