Thank you Carl. I am new to Meridan ecosystem ))

I found OA02 card for sale on eBay, will it fit my v4?

As I know it is for v2, but here is 861v4 with two such cards for sale.

Don't understand...

I got user manual for v4 but it is about settings, no wiring/connections frown
Maybe there is another manual, for the installer?
The whole setup with an 861 is really much easier and more versatile with MConfig, which is a program which runs on Windows and connects via the serial port. When you add equipment to the system. Including the 861, various speakers, etc., the config diagram will show you how to make the connections to the various bits of kit.

It’s really the only way to fine-tune the setup properly, and, importantly if you have an 861v4, run the excellent MRC (Meridian Room Correction). You will also likely need a USB to Serial converter. There is only one type which is pretty much guaranteed to work flawlessly, this can be found in the Wiki links.

It will also allow you to keep the firmware on your kit up-to-date.

I highly recommend you download this and read the section in the user manual about how to use it. Initial Meridian learning curve, as Carl says, is steep, but it’s well worth getting to grips with it to find out what your gear is really capable of, and the huge flexibility on offer.

Thank you for advice. I need a female to female RS232 converter to run Mconfig, will try a bit later.
Yesterday was soldering s-lead cable from midi cable and it works. Connected as daisy chain LCR speakers.

Could you help me with latest versions of firmware for DSP5200HC (coax in only), DSP7000 and 861+800v4.

https://www.Meridian-audio.com/Meridian-uploads/download/release_notes.html

I can' understand what versions are correct for me.
And what is proper way to update firmware?
