Meridian 861 and Room Correction, I got myself an ECM8000 and what else do I need to use Room Correction, is a Portable Phantom Power Sup. enough or should it be a USB interface with Micro Phantom power supply etc.? I am a little unsure about the ideal connection.

Have I misunderstood something, I thought the distance etc. can also be calibrated including phase or do you still have to do this manually before room correction?

They are independent calibration procedures. The distance/phase procedure pre-dates MRC.

That means what exactly? If I use Room Correction is distance and phase and correction included or does it use the distance/phase procedure as a reference? The SPL works in conjunction with Room Correction but the ECM 8000 from Behringer with phantom power supply does not, always not enough signal.
I have now measured only surround, then subwoofer and then all 8 channels. A total of 3 manual and 1 automatic measurement. In the automatic measurement, the progress has now been at 81% for 10 minutes, I don't think anything is happening.

Distance is set in the speaker distance section of MConfig. Phase is set in the speaker calibration section of MConfig. These are not automated with Room Correction. Room Correction is a separate process altogether.

Thank you for bringing light into the darkness. I can build on that. But why my ECM 8000 doesn't work on it, input etc. is right, try later with a USB interface with mic input and line outputs.

I have only used the Radio Shack calibration mic with differing levels of success depending on the system and the room.

Try adjusting the sensitivity of the mic input to 0.7v

Hello,
I think only 0.5v, 1.0v, 2.0v and 2.5v are possible in the settings, if I remember correctly.
