Meridian Unplugged - Powered by MrTechGuy.co.uk Forums Restaurant at the End of Universe Hitchhikers - Meridian Equipment FS: 861v4 LPSU and 800v4

Selling my 861v4 LPSU and 800v4,

Have gone the 271/Atmos route and hence the plan to sell.

800v4 :

Good cosmetic condition. Small nick on right hand side. Barely noticable and glass is in great condition. Recent replacement power supply (non LPSU) as well as a replacement drive supplied by Mr Tech Guy. Caps inspected and replaced with Nichicon for those that were bulging. Comes with box and power cable.

861v4 :

LPSU Upgrade - I am not the first owner and so can't tell you when it was done. Photographs prove it has an LPSU.

The following cards are installed :

OE12
TP00
IA00
OA12
OA13
IE42
VS00
C00

Cosmetically 8/10 with a couple of minor marks on the top. Front fascia is in mint condition.

Comes with the following :

12v trigger plugs & 3.5mm to 12v cable.
The Missing Link "Oran" Power cable
Original software floppy disks
Black MSR+ remote control with spare buttons.
RS232 cable complete with USB adapter
Original manual
Original box and Meridian drawstring bag.
C5 cable

All photographs are on eBay. Would prefer to sell to a fellow HHer. Collection ideal but can double box. Offers welcome - could do a deal for both. Collection from Telford or Worthing.

Bump !

Offers welcome.

Hello,

I see that the 800 is still up on eBay but the 861 isn’t. Has the 861 been sold?

Although you have posted pictures of the rear on the eBay listing, I’m a 800 series virgin and don’t want to make assumptions so would you mind confirming exactly which cards come with your 800, please?

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. The 861v4 is sold at present assuming the extra box for double boxing arrives on time (It's heading to the US)

Whilst the cards are not clearly labelled this is a native 800v4 so according to Duncan's Meridian Info it comes with the following :

CO00: Control computer card. Complete with Flash memory, RS232 port for control and status, 3 configurable trigger outputs and Meridian Comms.
OE22: Digital Output card with 6- channel 24-bit, 96 kHz output with MHR, plus 2-channel 24/96 output with MHR.

DV02: DVD control computer card. Complete with Flash memory upgradeable via dedicated RS232 port.
DV12: Video DSP card for DVD stream decoding of MPEG video, MPEG audio and Dolby Digital material. Also supports DTS streams.
DV20: MLP decoder card for DVD-Audio.

VE00: Video encoder. Generates NTSC or PAL (software switchable) in composite, S-video or component formats. Features wide video bandwidth, low noise and extended black level setting.
VI00: Video Input (A/D) card with 2 composite, 2 S-Video and 1 interlaced component input. Converts analogue video inputs to digital.
VE12: Provides HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) video and 2-channel audio* output to a compatible display, plus progressive component video out.

The above makes sense when you pair the outputs on the back to what's listed above.

The only extra option that this doesn't come with is the XLR and analogue audio outputs. (That would be the 800v4DAX)

Hope that helps. Feel free to drop me a PM to discuss further.

Dave
