Just received a cable from Amazon.cable
USB to RS232 Adapter with FTDI Chipset, CableCreation 6.6ft USB 2.0 Male to RS232 Female Gold Plated DB9 Serial Converter Cablefor Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Linux and Mac OS X 10.6 and Above,Black

Recognizes what it's connected to it, but after that says Fetching product information...and then three different fails.
Looks like this is not a good one for this purpose.

Actually I saw on the forum people using cable with PL2303 chipset. So I don’t know.
I need it for the connection between my laptop to HD621’s RS232.
My connection between the laptop and G61RSL’s USB is working perfectly.
At this point I don’t mind about price and two cable solutions (with null cable), just need it to work.
