I am a bit confused about the firmware versions on the DSP7200 and 7200.2.
Is it the same firmware version on them, and how can I then see if it is a DSP7200.2
TV room: 861v8, 800v4, UHD722,Front 2xDSP7200SE, DSP7200HCSE, Side DSP5200, Rear DSP33, DSW, (DD 15 Sub),
Roon Rock NUC, QNAP NAS, Chromecast Ultra, Apple TV, Oppo BDP-103D, Pro-ject Pre box S2 digital, Philips Pronto remotes, Supra LoRad Power.
Office: 800v3, MS200, DSP3100
Basement: MS600, 502, 557, Dynaudio 52se, Dynaudio Sub 250

A DSP7200.2 will report as such when turned on from the back panel switch.

Yes. Otherwise, DSP5200SL will only display 5200.

Thank you for quick answer. Is it the same firmware on the DSP7200 and DSP7200.2, when I look at this page ( https://www.Meridian-audio.com/Meridian-uploads/download/release_notes.html) it says that it is same firmware v2.63 (and if so, is it the latest)?

There is a version 2.63 for the 7200 and a separate file that is 2.63 for the 7200.2. Being that there are DSP board and tweeter changes between the two hardware versions of the speaker, I would not suggest loading a file not designated for the hardware version you own as unexpected undesirable results could occur. Curiously a previously released 3.16 firmware version for the DSP7200.2 is no longer available on the dealer support site.

Yes, that was what confused me, that there was a 3.16 firmware, which is talked about in various threads on the forum.
Do you know why that firmware 3.16 is no longer available on Meridian's dealer support site?

Does the serial number tell what version it was originally?
I.e. if it's a 7200 or a 7200.2.
