Well it took quite a while and a lot of suffering but my dream system is up and running. I will be removing the 2500 sub as it isn't needed. Holy crap I never thought I'd get this thing together.
Ages ago I'd heard the 6ks while picking up speakers for a friend and that sound just never left my head - now all that is left is the typical minor tweaking and mucking about with various settings.
This board has been invaluable for research - I really haven't seen another one like it in the techno world (non-toxic, supportive, etc). Anyway. Just wanted to let you all know how fun this stuff is!

I fondly remember the first time I heard a pair, it was after hours at Meridian Dealer just me and the sales guy. I had brought a selection of my favourite CDs and so had the dealer … we played track after track and got lost in the music… when midnight ticked by we reluctantly stopped.
And thanks for the compliment on the site, that’s exactly what we strive for.

Congrats! I bought my 6K’s ~ 20 years ago, they are just so so good. I am astounded as to their durability, just world class and distinctive in their own right.

Hi all I have as a main system DSP6000s fronts with a G98/G68 , DSP 5000c and D600s rears. Second system is a 602 driving DSP5000s very smooth and contained sound.
Also M100s with a 602/603 whilst the DSP 6000s are very smooth for musicality and dynamics the M100s sound better in fact more detailed.
Has anyone else had the same experience / opinion.
