Does the Marantz AV10 make the shortlist? I think early units are doing the rounds now.

I see that true 'budget' AVRs are now coming with Dirac onboard. Pioneer AVR

Well I've managed to invest in a Lyngdorf (MP40) recently so I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of an upgrade it proves to be over & above my Marantz 8802a. The Lyngdorf is still languishing in the UK & shipping stuff to Italy post Brexit is reserved for braver people than me in light of current import delays / hassles / fees, particularly on something relatively expensive. It will have to wait until we next visit.

On watching Storm|Audio’s ISE ‘23 video presentation on their new ISP-EVO, it is rack mounted alongside a Meridian 258.

Yes, I’d noticed that as well. I wasn’t sure what to read into that _ is it just that both companies are handled by the same agent/distributor or is there a bit more to it.

ISE 23 was in Barcelona, with AV EMEA representing “a portfolio of fine brands including Storm Audio and Meridian”,so might be an interesting combination.
