I would stop the pandering to the WEF and the DAVOS crowd first. We should not have the richest, most powerful people and corporations on the planet dictating how everyone lives. End of.
The fact they are monetising the green agenda, even discussing monetising all carbons now at COP27, including bloody water, should be a wake up call to everyone.
They have already been saying that people are getting used to high energy prices, and going forward we could keep them high and allow the energy companies and governments to keep that extra profit to pump back into going greener.
Yeah right, that'll happen!!!!
Also this global takeover of our food production, banning farmers because they are not green enough, just stinks and benefits no one other than those that take it all over.
It is a coup of the farmers globally and no corporation should be fully in control of the food supply. That is an incredibly dangerous path to walk down.
Regarding energy, I think we need to have energy home grown.
Or, we at least need anyone supplying energy to be UK based. By that I mean have the company selling energy to the energy suppliers in the UK, based in the UK themselves. So we can tax them.
Who do we windfall tax currently?
The energy companies bringing it out of the ground are not UK based, and the ones selling it to the consumer here are selling at a loss.
Who do you tax when you are ending home produced energy?
To bring them here however we need corporation tax set at a rate where it appeals to corporations to be based here of course.
A staggered corp tax rate would work well, and once based on a percentage of operating costs too.
A system that actually seems fair. Will never be ideal, but something people from all parties feel and agree is almost fair. Now there's a thought.
We need to also rejig the tax rates for those on the lowest incomes, and start to tax people more on the higher earnings.
I have had years when I have taken really decent money home, and would be happy to pay 5% more above £100k even.
The whole system needs rjigging.
10% rate from £12500 to £20000. Then 15% from £20-30k, then 25% from £30-60k etc. etc.
And we need to stop worrying about being virtuous, all the bloody time.
We can no longer discuss anything anymore. The NHS is a great example.
Nurses now striking, asking for a 17% pay rise because of inflation.
Well, why is inflation so high? If we believe what we are being told it is because of Covid, we have to print and print to pay for the lockdowns, the lockdowns to pay for the NHS.
Well hold on a mo.
As a business owner, I was forced to close on and off for 2 years, to "Protect The NHS".
It cost my business, a business that turns over £500k a year with profits of around £5-15k a year after everything is covered, £156,000 to close.
It is costing us £1650 a month for the next 10 years to pay this back.
We have had to reduce our wages by 25% to cover this.
Plus, I had to knock my pension on the head, not ideal when you are 50.
Yet when I speak to my friends in the NHS most don't even understand how much a public sector pension is worth, and how much more they would need to earn to get that pension if they were working in the private sector.
When you point out that £35k pa pension is more like them being on £60k pa if working in the private sector they are shocked.
The NHS is not short of money, it is being raped by layers of management and ridiculous outsourcing, management and budgets should be done by each department.
A mate of mine is a consultant and he was going through some of their departments spending a couple of years back, and it was horrific.
They spent £17,000 with one company maintaining light bulbs for [censored]! He said that those bulbs could have been bought direct and fitted by staff for less than £1000.
He wanted to swap the benches around in the waiting room, rather than rows like a cinema he wanted them facing each other, so people could chat. they said they would do it one night after the out patients closed. He and the male staff would get some pizza in and swap them over. 16mm bolts into the ground, undo the, 18 benches in total, turn 90º and do them back up.
Oh no! Have to get a company in to do it.
They took 3 hours and they were billed £8k for it.
Good customer of mine looks after the networks in some departments. they get offered out work and he was asked to quote for looking after the new radiology department, he didn't want it as he was short staffed. But if he doesn't quote for tenders they put out they will stop asking him.
He said it was to go in one morning every quarter, and then monitor thing remotely. 2 year contract.
He said really it was £2k, but he said he put £5k because he didn't wan't the work.
Last minute he changed that to £12k to make sure he didn't get it.
He got it!
He did it for them for £5k in the end. But he said he was the cheapest out of half a dozen quotes and they were happy to pay that.
Why am I saying all this? Because if you dare to mention that the NHS hemorrhages money and maybe needs to look at waste and paying those that really deserve it rather than those that cream off it, you are called a nasty Tory bastard.
But we have to have these conversations without just shouting down anyone that questions what is going on as a nasty right wing facist. The answer now is throw more money at everything.
It is the same with the migration issue, it is a serious issue, but we can't discuss that either. It is costing us billions and it is a proper security threat. More important than that, those that need our help properly are being let down because of it too.
Even the Highways Agency is corrupt as feck. My best mate, someone I have known since I was 5 started working for them a few months back.
He walked out last week as everyone is on the take. From the new lad to the management. They all put down 15 hour shifts and do around 6 hours, every single night.
It is beyond corrupt and just seems that everyone considers it "playing the game.".
Keep your head down and earn a fortune.
We, the tax payers are all paying for that corruption.
Most importantly though, I would come away from FIAT and move back to an asset backed monetary system, you know, like the 'evil' nations are trying to do currently.
We can not have central banks just keep printing and printing money and pumping into the system, stop and think what is actually happening.
Do you and I get that money pushed into our bank accounts?
No of course we don't.
It is theft of your money through inflation. It is the biggest scam on earth.
Many nations have had enough, they are pulling away from this, and I think we need to as well. We can not carry on causing massive wealth divides, and by that I mean divide between people and divide between countries. Which is what happens when you abuse the FIAT system.
I think from a UK perspective the one thing I would bring in if I was in Number 10 is join decision making.
Any decision regarding health, education, policing, green agenda or economy, would be made cross party and for an agreed period that could cover any changes in party ruling.
That way we don't have the massive blame game and policies are not stopped because someone else decided to put them in place.
Of course many things would then be a compromise, but, better than the ridiculous situation we find ourselves in where polices are thrown in the bin before we know if it was working or not because "They brought it in, Grrrrrrr!".
The reality?
What would I do? Nothing.
That is the reality. The whole charade is too big to do anything about. And they all know that. Hence it carries on.
I'm am the problem. I understand that.
But I will voice my concerns in the hope that some of it people read and do their own research. They may come away thinking differently, and that is great, we all have different perspectives on things and maybe I am wrong? Who really knows?
But for now I think those that have always controlled us, those who have got away with things that do not benefit the people, have at last found a way to increases their control in a way that no one dares speak out against them without fear of being called a name of some sort, whether that be a climate denier, bigot, racist, transphobe, anti-vaxxer, antisemitic, leftie, right wing or whatever the slur is that is thrown at anyone who starts asking too many questions.
Shutting down debate is never a good thing but it is a very, very powerful tool if you find a way to do it.
