I thought he was kicked out because he was dishonest.

Well he's a politician, they all are.

Look at what he was actually kicked out for.

Look, I was not a fan of Boris. I was incredibly vocal about many of the decisions he made.

But I'm less of a fan of the media and powers outside of the UK deciding who is running our country.

Well you did say "If he is not putting the people's interest of the country he is meant to be representing before everything else, which he is not, then he is risk to all of us" presumably that applies across the board.

But Boris was putting the interests of the country before some stupid global elites wet dream to give them the ultimate control. That was the point.
He must have known by saying no to the Davos crowd they would do everything they could to get him out.

Rishi is going to sign us up to a level of control 99% of people simply can't comprehend.


But listen to the press and you would think it is the other way round. That simply isn't the case.

Boris is a bluster machine, yet was someone I previously quite liked. However, he has shown that much of what he says (at least publicly) is made up with some fantastic examples, including:

• The 'oven baked deal' with the EU;
• His slur on Starmer, carefully orchestrated using parliamentary privilege to avoid the legal repercussions; and
• The energy saving kettle that supposedly breaks the laws of physics, saving £10 a year

The bottom line, though, is that he sees the PM role as one big joy ride, is constantly making mistakes because he can't see things through with the result that I wouldn't trust him to run a bath.

I'm afraid that simply isn't true & strikes me as a bit of a cop-out.

I agree with GMT & Jeremy in that Boris isn't without his charms but he's similar to Trump in that being PM is all about him. I don't doubt that he has the UK's interests to the fore but he has his own interests even further forward. He would almost certainly be great company around a diner table, but PM? No thanks.

I get the "he's an election winner" argument but to me that's incredibly short-sighted as he was an election winner 3 months ago yet the Tories (& the man in the street) turned on him after the trickle of scandals became a torrent and it was simply impossible for him to remain in No 10. If the Tories select him to be the next PM then there may well be a period of upturn but before too long the old problems will return & they will have proven themselves to be morally bankrupt.

I agree with all of you on Boris.

I was extremely vocal on Boris while he was in and was not impressed with him at all, however....as far as I am concerned at the moment the biggest threat to us all is the take over by the WEF/Davos crowd, who let's not forget are global non elected billionaires and central bankers controlling the narrative.
And Boris was the only one across multiple countries who started to kick back against them telling us all what to do.

That alone, outweighs everything else he had said and done for me.

We need someone who is not in the pockets of the WEF lot, if not we are all screwed.

When you look at the papers outlining CBDCs, social credit scores and carbon credit scores it is nothing more than a serious wealth grab, a system in place to keep the money rolling in for the elite and stopping the other 99% from doing anything we have taken for granted all our lives.

Do more than 10,000km a year in your car? Then forget about doing any other travel unless you are a super high earner.
This system will not stop anyone from doing anything, but you will need the money to be able to do it. And serious money.

Want to eat meat? Well, better not use all your carbon credits up on heating your home then. Oh, and if they get their way you will only be able to buy from one of the approved "trusted sellers".

The whole thing stinks and is being completely ignored by the main stream media.

And right now we have two choices, Rishi, who is one of the people championing this new world for us all, or Boris who is kicking back against it.

Be careful what you wish for.

Sorry, I have worked closely with many, from different parties and they are all dishonest.

If you go back through what people have said or done you will find untruths from all of them.

The only exceptions are the ones trying to kick back against the machine, but they never, ever get anywhere, so they may as well not exist.

I was about to be a conservative councillor, but after going to a few meetings, with all parties and meeting with different MPs I realised that they are all full of absolute BS. They will all do or say what ever is needed to promote themselves or their party, whether that is in the interest of the people or not. It is a game to them all, it is all about making the other side look bad. Never about making yourself look good through doing right, but about making the other side look bad.

It was actually the fact that I was having to hold back on my distain of Boris whilst I was talking to people and on social media, that I didn't go through with it, and I actually cancelled my conservative membership too.

I'm politically homeless.

I wouldn't have chosen either Rishi or Boris, although would have liked to give Penny Mordaunt a chance.

As things stand, especially with Boris pulling out of the race, I suspect she'll agree to take a senior cabinet position, endorsing Rishi so that there doesn't have to be a contest.

Whoever wins have their work cut out if they're not going to see a repeat of 1997 two years from now.

Is it only me that can spot a leap here?! You've worked with what, a dozen, 2 dozen, but that's enough to tell you that all 650 are dishonest?

I'm very pleased to see that Boris has seen sense & he'll hopefully go off to do something else soon. Now that he's back in the country, perhaps he could represent his constituents for a change.
